Libre Franklin for text, Noto Serif HK for Chinese, IBM Plex Mono for labels and readings. The Chinese is set in a serif deliberately: it is the thing on display, and it should look like an object rather than interface.
Pictures
There are none. Every diagram on this site is drawn in the browser out of text and shapes — no photographs, no illustrations, nothing licensed from anyone. That began as a way to avoid image rights and turned into the house style.
Chart colours were checked for colour-vision deficiency against the page's own background rather than chosen by eye, which is why the greens are more saturated here than in the site's own furniture: the brand green reads as grey when you fill a shape with it.
Build
Astro, static output, no client-side JavaScript beyond what the browser does on its own. Served from a small server in Europe. Analytics are self-hosted and cookie-free; nothing about you is sent to an advertising network.
